PASTOR'S AID AND TRAINING
Pastor’s Aid and Training
Providing training for pastors has for a long time been our emphasis. Since 1999, IPFAC has been engaged in organizing training classes, seminars and conferences for pastors and Church Leaders within their areas of reach. We do this by inviting and working with those gifted individuals, pastors, churches and Ministries with a calling of training and equipping pastors to become effective and efficient servants of Christ. We organize and mobilize pastors and church Leaders especially from the rural churches who are disadvantaged in a number of ways and their response towards our call for their training has been so overwhelming.
We are also working on establishing a formal training centre for theology and Christian ministry in our main Church in Nairobi to provide quality ongoing biblical teaching classes and training using well skilled and experienced men of God.
IPFA church recognizes pastors and church workers training as core for the healthy growth of the church and increase of impact of the Gospel in every nation. Church growth in Kenya is on the rise and interest in Christianity among communities is immense but there is a lack of trained pastors to disciple congregations of believers and manage Church activities effectively. This is a concern of many today as the Born Again Churches in Kenya are under attack for ‘dilute’ biblical teaching of the Word of God, poor pastor’s character and church leadership.
However, while the majority of pastors desire to be trained, many lack training opportunities or funds because they are so poor to afford to attend Bible college training. This situation is worse for rural pastors, some of whom are illiterate, poor and main bread winners for their families. They can’t afford to leave their families for more than two weeks for sustained rigorous training.
IPFA Church is particularly focused on supporting such rural needy pastors and church Leaders serving local Churches in remote areas who are limited by resources to acquire basic biblical training or any structured training for ministry to reach their people with the true Word of God.
We believe that empowering a pastor is empowering a nation for God’s glory. We desire to help these men of God preach and teach the Word of God clearly, effectively and thoroughly by:

We believe that empowering a pastor is empowering a nation for God’s glory. We desire to help these men of God preach and teach the Word of God clearly, effectively and thoroughly by:
- Training them with pastoral skills in the areas of Maturity, Ministry, and Leadership through conduction of regular Pastors/Leaders classes, conferences, or seminars.
- Equipping them with quality ministry resources to expand their ministry impact. Having each rural pastor own a home / church library of basic ministry tools, a bible, a bicycle, a radio and monthly financial or material support are on our top prayer list since these would help boost his abilities in effectively serving God and the community.
- Encouraging them to stay focused on God during challenging times.
